Miss Jenny's Profile
Miss Jenny has a Masters in Special Education, Diploma in teaching, Associate Diploma in Drama, Certificate 4 in Auslan (Australian Sign Language) and Certificate 4 in ASL (American Sign Language). She is also Reading Recovery Trained (specialised training in teaching struggling grade one students to read & write).
She has had over ten years experience as an elementary school teacher. Her experiences also includes teaching childen with Special Needs.
Values & Goals
More than anything, I value the children I teach. I believe that encouragment with anything they do is vital to their; confidence, their learning and their belief in themselves.
Pre-school is a vital step to how they will feel about going to school. It is my goal that all children will experience a fun, safe and encouraging environment that will build their positive self worth.
Building a positive learning environment is about focussing on their progress and willingness to try new things. All children in my class are cheered on for having a go.
